0:36 needing a team employee to sound a horn to get a chant going is pathetic. When I saw that in person at a Hurricanes' game I just felt bad for them. Won't see that in NY, Boston, Philly, or Chicago.
I am going to keep saying this. Can Carlson please be a healthy scratch. He has been a weak link this whole year on D, he has decided that offense is more fun. He is paid to play D and he has yet to really do that this year. Instead they bench Gudas, Jensen and others but almost every goal Carlson has done something to lead to the goal. He needs to get the message his play needs to change.
Good game for the Flyers, but the refs sucked that power play goal for the Flyers should have counted, and the capitals shouldn’t of been penalized so much.
The flyers got mauled in the 1st and you wouldn’t even know it from watching the rest of the game. Old flyers teams wouldn’t even come back out of the locker room after that kind of 1st in enemy territory.
Konecny's was 100% in the first time. I hate the rules like that. The ones that you know for a fact are in the net but because his blocker was in the way, you couldn't actually see it cross the line. But you see where it hits his pants and he's in the net. If I'm a ref, I call that a goal every time. But, like the Konecny we all know and love, he made sure that he was scoring.
