But now? All wild card contenders have serious issues.
The team surging and peaking at the right time is Montreal.
While Rangers do the hesitation waltz… and that is a GM/coaching issue.

I'm calling it now… Gabe is going to score a hatty tonight in his debut and will be that instant spark we need to go on a serious run for the Cup where we will silence ALL doubters and become one of the greatest comeback teams in NHL history. We were obviously just saving all of our effort for the end of the season…
The problem with this team is even if Gabe struggles they'll bury him in the lineup. Let him play top 6 mins. Let him mess up and learn and don't cut his playing time.
But … our coach is Lav so we're screwed

Excited to see Perreault play tonight, but expectations shouldn't be too high. Also good to see Lafreniere back on his normal left side. RW has been a sore spot for an eternity & I like Othmann & Cullye over there. Why K'iller is on the second PP unit is beyond me. I'd rather see Borgen out there in his place.
Eager to see Perreault. I'd rather the Rangers just use the last 8 games as tryouts for next season. Give the young guns top line minutes, let's see 'em play.
