    Really shook up about Bruce. He was one of my favorite sports commentators. Regarding Podz – one could argue that he does drive offense by clearing the way for Drai, digging out pucks for Arvi. His shot is hard but not always accurate.

    Assuming the same lines with this coach ?! The only thing consistent with the lines is J.Skinner being undeservingly disrespected . . . . Also doesn't matter what Pickard does , they'd rather ride S.Skinner into a series hole and leave Pickard to try and dig them out

    Maybe Skinner is on that line because Knobby thinks he’s strong enough to keep the boat from sinking

    Oilers' defense was so bad that we had to trade with the SHARKS TWICE. Isn't that crazy to think about.

    I think Skinner is on that third line to try and elevate their play. That’s the only way I can rationalize his place there rather than on the 2nd. Kapanen is on the cusp of really breaking out offensively, so I hope he finds some finish with that boost in ice time. I really do want Kappy to succeed on this team too.

    My condolences to Bruce’s family. I’ve enjoyed the cult of hockey podcast, and the guy was a pillar of hockey culture here. Man 2025 is a year, isn’t it?

    This game shouldn't be as close as the earlier win this season. I would love to put Skinner on my players to watch list but he's back on the bottom 6, while Kap is still in the top 6 for whatever reason, weird choice. Anyways, players to watch: Drai, Arvi, and Walman. Drai is most likely going to score at least once or twice this game, I'm saying at least 2-4 pts. Arvi has seemed to find his scoring again and I think he'll continue it this game with one goal. I loved that smoking goal that Walman got on Hill and since he's facing his team I think he'll have another strong game. Honorable mention to Podz, not a lot scoresheet-wise but that hustle definitely leads to some goals. Oilers 6-2. That last game vs Sharks had a terrific goalie in net in Askarov, stopping 39 of 42 shots, I don't think it'll happen again hence why I think it'll be a blowout win. Hope that first period is better though, last game looked like a bunch of snails in the first.

    Nuge has been a stud lately, I'm expecting fireworks on the powerplay when Mcdavid returns because the play is dying a LOT less on Nuge's stick now
