I lost all respect for Toccett and management/ownership after the Miller trade. We should have got a haul and waited for the offseason to do it
As soon as the drama went public, the value of Miller plummeted. He's had issues with every team he's played for. There's a pattern there. JR shouldn't have confirmed it publicly
Chytil, part of the return from the NY Rangers in a blockbuster trade that had sent JT Miller the other way, is out due to injury for who knows how long. The blue line for the Canucks looks better on paper than it did before that February series of blockbuster trades but still it didn’t look very good against the Kraken under 24 hours ago. Ideally an NHL team should allow fewer than three goals but these Canucks, even before factoring in a late-game empty-netter, allowed FOUR. If that game wasn’t a defensive disaster, I don’t know what is.

Allvin jumped the gun signing Pettersson when he was already underperforming. Management then waited far too long with the Pettersson/Miller fiasco and by that point they sould have just waited until the off-season as the season was already in jeopardy. The Rangers forced Chytil knowing full well his career would be done with one more hit. Management did all of this in order to squeak into the playoffs and now it once again, bit them in the a$$! Allvin should be terminated as I believe JR let him take the reigns this year and he dropped the ball every single time.

thinking every trade has a winner or loser is meathead nonsesne. just look at the rangers, they suck too and miller hasnt helped them at anything except filling up their cap space.
It all started when they traded Bo,…. dumbest deal ever in franchise history. Then firing Bruce for Tocchet,….Rutherford and Alvin suck, they remind me of the team before Pat Quinn saved us,….Frank better wake up,…..

Unfortunately Miller no longer had much interest in playing in Vancouver. They were dealing from a position of weakness and everyone knew it.
The return was never going to be all it should have been.

Chytil was not an unknown. Everyone knew he was one hit away from a career ending injury.
