This game reminded me why I don’t even watch when my team plays Tampa. The refs going out of their way to ignore everything the Lightning do while simultaneously trying to keep them on the powerplay is absolutely infuriating.

I picked up Knies for my fantasy championship the other day. Good decision
The refs weren't slightly favouring Tampa, it was overwhelming. They seemed to have every intention of serving up a Tampa victory.
If i remember that one correctly, it was a slapper just as he got over the line. Drilled it into that net. You could feel it watching that game. Hopefully Knies can keep getting better.
Knies is just a monster. 22 years old, built like a brick shit house and only getting better. Forget Marner, number 1 priority should be locking this kid up for as long as possible. He is a premier power forward in this league.

Knies is a prototypical power forward: big size but can also score. And he's got a mean streak to him, not afraid to drop the gloves. This is why the Leafs didn't want to include him in any trade. Give credit where it's due & that's Kyle Dubas for drafting him 57th overall.

When you are blocking shots it means you aren't playing with the puck, it also means the other has compromised your defense and how many shots does a player absorb before it affects his play. That many blocked shots isn't really something you want your team to be doin

That first Knies goal was almost exactly like the game winning goal in Game Five 2022 except this time it was Matthews with the shot pass and not the goal.

I don't get it?!!? I am watching this game at Kelsey's in Mitch Mariner's HOMETOWN, he gets the 1st goal of the game, and all i hear is crickets chirping. I couldn't cheer because I was so shocked (actually I missed the goal because I was stuffing my face).
