Can you talk about Alex Lyon what’s happening with him in Detroit?
Lyon is gone
I think he wants to get to 500 goals and that is the priority over money right now. Will he stay for season 3 for the Red Wings who knows. He probably would like to score 500 with the Blackhawks again.
9 goals to go
SNIPPITS!!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Kaner is too good to leave! I hope he finishes his career in Detroit ❤🎉
I would love to see a reunion of Kaner in Chicago but its unlikely going to happen.
wings just missed the playoffs again lol
fire that bum gm already
Having not watched hockey in the last 6 years I missed out on a lot. One thing I know, seeing Patrick Kane play some sexy hockey these last couple weeks has shown me why he NEEDS to stay and why I think he does deserve all the hype. Now, if he doesn't care about money as much as he cares about his pride, he's going to wanna comeback next season harder that ever. He truly is a legend. He's not done yet, and it looks like he wants to keep thriving as a player. I hope he doesn't let this season beat him down.
I think he's leaving and that's completely fine. This team can't keep relying on a guy who is on the wrong side of 30. That's not a knock on Kane. But one of two things is probably happening soon A: he has another drop off in playing ability due to age/wear and tear. and/or B: the guy is just going to be looking to hang em up soon.
Nobody plays forever and acting like Kane is somehow going to be around in like 2-3 years, or however long this is going to be to not only get into playoffs but also be a contender, AND still be playing this good seems kinda delusional to me.
Steve yzerman is one I don’t see letting him walk. If he was going to let him walk it would have been after last season. Kane has a lot left in him for Detroit, he has already made it clear he doesn’t want to leave Detroit. He should finish his career with the wings
at this stage i would rather see a full youth infusion rather than trying to continue pushing for the last playoff spot with veterans
