Holtby doesn't react at all after this goal which makes me lean towards it being a good goal, he never said a word to the ref and just accepted it so if he can accept it why can't the refs?
What if Weiss push the goalie towards making the save but rebound comes out but no other subsequent interference would it still be called goalie interference ?
Hockey is slowly turning into soccer, any contact on the goalie, even if the goaltender places himself so that contact is inevitable the goalie is still in the right..
That was a bad call. No matter what happens, that's a goal. It wasn't a push. He was stopping himself from running into the goalie because he was being pushed. But you see these terrible calls all the time now.
I think goalies are WAY over protected. Even more so than QBs in football. If you're not in the crease, you might not be able to be checked but it's your problem if people run into you. Stay in the paint. That's what's there for. If you want to go out and challenge a shooter, fine. But when you get ran over, it's your fault and shouldn't be interference.
I'm glad there are Philly fans on here calling it a good call from the officials to counter the ones who say there was no interference. No one outside of Flyers' fans thinks this was a bad call and judging by the comments, the vast majority of Flyers' fans agree!

The only problem I have is it's not being called consistently, like Dubnyk has gotten way worse and had goals allowed but whatever.
I missed the speachless part, and the reaction.
Putting your hand on a goalie is begging for a goaltender interference call. Right or wrong, dems da rules.
WTF.
It's hockey, he got a tiny nudge good goal. And he had two chances to hold the puck and he missed it. Look at the top view near the end.
Thought weise was Lecavalier in the thumbnail at first and was confused.
hang on a second. this is goal tender interference.
but its so minor.
this game is becoming very tacky and trying to be too picture perfect.
if rules were like this 2 decades ago, Gretzky would be lucky to.have half of his career points.
and the NHL wants more scoring in the league.
great standards nhl lmfao
Obvious interference, but man that really killed them the rest of the game. 1 goal for the flyers is like 8 for every other team.
Finally a good call.

Hawks fans 2017
I remember being so happy then, so sad
Goaltender interference, 100%! Good call!
Looks more like he is avoiding crashing into him.
Obvious goaltender interference, he pushed him.
definitely didn't push him just laid his hand on him. Applied no force.
Right call was made. Weise obviously gave Holtby a shove.
Goaltender would have been right in the path of the puck if he wasn't pushed away.
Refs will make the right call almost every time.
Weise is an idiot.

Its philly no one likes them anyway
Post the goalie interference call from the bruins game last night, complete joke of a call.
allaa Tenderrrr

That's the right call. Weise wasn't pushed in, no reason he should be pushing Holtby out of position. Cost his team a goal.
Dale Weise sucks
Don't even mind Philly teams. I just hate Philly fans lmao
clearly the right call
God DANM it whise
could those announcers be more for the flyers?

Yea I bleed orange. Thats interference.
Refs were on Ovechkin's payroll
This is why I don't watch hockey no more. It's fine, I guess I'm just not their target audience
