We're literally having to hide Burns NOW , He's been awful for 2 years and there's a reason you don't pay Pesce who's skating and agility were severely compromised well.into his 30s and now we got Burns who is far more aged and who was never exactly a stellar defender but his offense made up for it and now he doesn't score and he's just burnt toast so much of the time like literally every game . And Nikishin isn't some 18 year old kid straight out of Medicine Hat or Moose Jaw in the CHL he's a full grown man who was the best D man in the second best league in the world playing against pro men not a bunch of 16 and 17 year old kids .
Saku Maenalanen did some playoff games for the Canes and had a small impact. Didn't play too many memorable regular season games. Nikishin should be better than Maenalanen.
