  1. This is the style of team the win or die crowd has wanted for almost a decade. Matthews numbers are down but the team is strong. Without a team bruiser, the team plays tough.
Without a superstar the team outscored the opponent.
    The goaltenders are the best.
The defense is 3 pairings strong.
The coach is quiet and strong.
The trade deadline was not for rentals.
What we all need is fans who act like fans again.
Hockey is a joyful expression of sport. And really tough. Being a fan should have expectations of class and supporting your team, not always bitching. Life is for living and sometimes you might win.
Battle of Ontario is going to be an all time entertainment event!
    Let's get it on!

  2. Jd, listen to you all the time. Message you a couple times. We both have the same experiences with our fathers. Anyways, I don't know why you keep pressing this idea to split the big two lines. Keep the town up front. Let the rats eat the cheese on the floor

  3. The Leafs lineup was better without Domi in it, top to bottom, no matter where you put him. The "nerds" were yelling this all last year, and then for some reason the Leafs signed him anyway.

You guys could not stop hyping him, and talking about how he's should be in the top 6, while the "nerds" were saying his good play was an illusion created by being next to Rocket-winning Matthews.

    Then there was… this season.

Now you're suddenly, at long last, saying "man, Domi doesn't fit anywhere in this lineup", while a bunch of us are screaming "YES, WE KNOW!!!"

  4. Stolarz is the key to winning in the playoffs. He has reached a new level the past few weeks. The Leafs lose every year in the past because of SOFT goals. Go watch the goals they gave up. Now since February they are second best record in NHL.

  5. Leafs are doing things more the right way this year and are built for the playoffs with better D and goaltending – this is the year !!

  6. Was at the game, hell of a night for the Buds!!! Couldn’t have asked for more. Clinched the division, all the milestones hit, stole with a shutout, the team rolling heading into playoffs. GLG!!!

  7. Like I said weeks ago, the TML have won the war of attrition. The Bruins, Rangers, Lightning and Panthers ain't what they used to be. Meanwhile, the TML have kept the nucleus intact while they gradually improved piece by piece, bit by bit. Now it's their turn . . . .

  8. This is the year! Wanted to make sure you got my note from yesterday, Sammy. I was way down the board. Astrological signs are totally BS. Whatever you think your sign is, that's from 2000 years ago. Your 'sign' has changed 1.5 months in today's time. So all that crap goes straight down the flusheroo!
And when a girl asks me my sign on a date, i tell her my sign is, 'Check please!'

  9. Imagine beginning to play organized hockey at 5. Imagine watching the Leafs winning a Stanley Cup at age 7. Imagine seeing them win 3 more Cups. Imagine believing the Leafs would keep on winning Cups at the very least every few years. Imagine the years of suffering since 1967. Go Leafs Go!

  10. You know after seeing Stolarz play for around 20 games I took a preference for him. I thought that he looked a bit quicker in net and better at tracking the puck…where Woll seems to struggle abit more with tracking certain areas. Just my observation. That said I think Woll can handle high pressured games better and Woll just might be the guy . However nothing wrong with giving Anthony a shot . Woll hasn't looked himself last 10 games in net too which I think is a question mark. I guess you go with the hot guy . I don't think the Sens has his number. Bring on battle of Ontario!

  11. In all the other brilliant milestones, I feel like we've slightly missed out on acknowledging ANOTHER Lorentz GWG! Insane!

  12. Love seeing dahline smash his stick all butthurt at the end of the game. Lol enjoy your tee time loser.

  13. You are not old referencing Kendrick Lamar. I was watching Leafs when Led Zeppelins last album was released.😳😵‍💫And here I am. My dad is 101. This might make him the oldest Leaf fan? Please let this be the year.

  14. McKee you’re a nice guy and a super fan. But I think you should be careful with underrating the Sens.

  15. Of course Marner hitting 100 genuinely matters. Haven’t you two competed in sports before? Or academics, or anything else? It’s one thing to say and think that you’re at a high level, but you need the proof. Now Mitch and everyone else knows that he’s a legitimate 100 point player. There’s no argument.

  16. Game One: Knies Mathews Domi, Jarnkrok Tavares Marner, McMann Laughten Nylander, Lorentz Kampf Holmberg (+ Jarnkrok, Robertson)

  17. Pumping an ad at the 3 minute mark? That's greasy AF boys! 😂

Go Leafs Go. It WILL be different this year. Book it.
