It still shocks me to this day that I met this man just before taking the ice one night and "I said Marty is that you?" and he turned and walked right up to me to shake my hand and let me take a picture with him. I was star struck by his presence for sure.
I grew up in Toronto never really a hockey fan till on March break down in Florida my dad took us to a Lightning game which was my first hockey game I’d ever gone to. Watching Martin St.Louis skate like a spitfire down the ice made me a Lightning fan for life. He will forever be my favourite player and I hope to get to meet him one day till then I’ll just keep on wearing my favourite sweater with that 26 on my back 👍
I grew up like allot of Canadian kids playing street hockey. My team got lucky to have Tocchet another NHL player we all know…St.Louis your a legend bro! My team is out so Go Habs Go…. keep showing em bud!!! Folks give your mom a hug
