    Don't worry, I've been right there with you. I've been so stressed out since last Friday night and I'd already accepted that we might blow it. But obviously I forgot about Superior Propane and his ability to light a fire under the team. Now onto many more weeks of even more stress!

    They really need to mix up the PP, and I think the obvious thing to do is try Demidov on PP1. I know Laine has mostly only been effective on the PP this season, but he hasn't had a good shot from his office on one in I don't know how long. They've got a few days to work out a new strategy and surprise the Caps with something they haven't seen us try in every PP since December.

    I was stressed too, Whiskey. When Carolina made it 3-2 the air was blue in my house. Don't know if they can get far but at least they're in. Anything is possible in the playoffs. Last time they played Washington in the playoffs was 2010 and we all know what happened that year.

    While we praise these young players (and rightfully so), should we not look silently upon Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton with huge gratitude? Even the most diehards among us would have been hard pressed back in September to stand up in a room and predict the Habs were a playoff team. I would also point out they still have TWO first round picks in this year's draft, are projected to have almost five million still available against the cap, our farm team is the best in the AHL and they are the second youngest team in the league. MSL also took a lot of (poop) on the comment boards this week…..Habs nation, ger yourselves an expensive pair of Ray Bans because the future is BRIGHT!

    Yeah ! Lane Hutson tied the Larry Murphy record but Murphy did it in 80 games and Hutson in 82 games So for me the Record still belong to Larry Murphy.

    im happy to see the habs in the playoffs but the fact that they were in a close game with Carolina when we had our 7 top player out. yes SEVEN. i dont feel confident in them even getting one win against the caps.

    Before the game I grabbed the same old fashioned maple donut I picked up before the draft this season. Worked great then and now, looks like it’s the lucky snack. Guess I’ll be eating way too many donuts this spring 💙🤍❤️

    I really, really enjoyed Demidov's debut despite the loss. I just hope they can get some rest before the series against Washington.

    I'll just point out that the Habs had the second best record in the NHL over the last ten games. They got 16 points out of a possible 20. So, while I was stressing just like you, it's just a fact that if they had played all season like they did over the last ten games, they would have won the President's cup.

    Anyhow, it's off to the playoffs now, and whatever happens, it will be great for the young players to get a taste of playoff hockey. That will stand them in good stead in the future.
