Habs in 7 then losing to Carolina
Guys remember the last time all the "so called experts" predicted against Montreal v Laffs..look out here comes the upset..go Habs go
The Washington Capitals haven’t won a playoff series since winning the cup in 2018.
As a Habs fan I'm desperately asking to see more of arber xhekaj in the playoffs, possibly as Hutson's dpair. Hutson is gonna get literally bullied out there by Washington, we gotta sacrifice some offense to protect our stars. Arber will do just that
Capitals in 5
Habs in 7
In every NHL playoff season there is at least one great upset, one feel good story and I'm hoping it's our Bleu, Blanc et Rouge ! Either way, hockey is FUN again in Montreal and this will be great experience for the Habs ! Montreal in 7 !
Worth keeping in mind Montreal has won a series more recently than Washington, so that may put extra pressure on the caps to get a series win and not let another year slip
You guys predicted the habs would finish last in the Atlantic, they made the playoffs because they play with heart which is the x factor in the playoffs. I think you're wrong again this time but time will tell
This Caps team is a mirage. Habs in 6.
Saying the Hutson Ghule duo is the all offense no défense duo is crazy to me. Just say the sky is purple next time. Ghule?? He’s a shutdown physical defensive Dman with 3rd most blocked shots on the team… not to mention Hutson has a positive +- since coming back from 4 nations so he’s been giving doing more good than bad for a while now.
For the habs it all comes down to goaltending and special teams .
If Monty is on his A game , if Evans keeps playing solid minutes on the pk and if they get their power play rolling I could see them win it in 6 .
I have Demidov as my X factor , he lives for the pressure and sky is the limit for him in terms of point production .
If they beat Washington , this team could become a dark horse in these playoffs .
The amount of games they have won after trailing on the scoreboard this year is bonkers. Washington might be in for a frustrating series .
The Sparc playoff bracket link isn't working for me. Anyone else having this problem.?
Washington wins in 3 games. If you think the Habs have a chance in this series, get back in the pond with all the other silly geese. Washington finally gets retribution for 2010 and the Halak-ening.
Savard won against MTL with Tampa after they acquired him from CLB
Delulu is the solulu, Habs in 7
Since Feb 1 (two plus months of hockey) Canadiens have a better record than the Capitals. The Metro division is one of the weakest divisions in the NHL. Washington is a wild card if they played in Atlantic. This is a very winnable series for the Canadiens. I think we see Canadiens and Toronto in the third round. The Atlantic division has made the final six years in a row and the Metro hasn’t been close to sniffing it. One team had to win Metro this season and it was Washington. Carolina is an objectively worse team than last year, they aren’t a threat to go far this post season. People are fooled by the Caps. They can’t figure out why they had so many points. Look at the division they are in. That’s the reason. If you play a lot of bad teams you will get a lot of wins. It is also why the President’s trophy is not a serious award. You play two of the worst bottom feeder teams in the NHL in your division you are going to rack up a lot of wins. Hi Winnipeg.
Toronto has more wins than Washington, by the way.
Montreal has a very easy path to third round. This has upset potential all over it. Just read my first sentence. Montreal in 6 or 7. I am not a Montreal fan. Just calling it objectively based on the hidden background details no one is talking about.
Caps in 6
Sorry Demidov is not going to change the outcome of this series.
I think the Canadiens success will depend on their ability to be mature and avoid dumb mistakes at key times. If they can keep games close, they can hold off the Caps…but it'll depend on their ability to not take dumb penalties at bad times
Capitals are a team of men. Habs are still kids they will steal 1 or 2 but Caps will win
Remember St. Louis cup run
habs ln 4
Montréal is coached by someone who couldn’t get his team to start playing until the 2nd period. He is sitting a team leader. Washington in 4 or 5.
