  1. Hmmm, ACL injury or a controversial goal? Definitely the controversial goal every time. The league is unbelievable, sometimes. I don't understand it. Come one, guys. Be better.

  2. Not an avs fan, but that’s a goal. Lehkonen didn’t even know where the puck was. His body went down, his feet came up, and the puck happened to be in the air in front of him. You can’t intentionally kick the puck in if you have no clue where it is.

  3. Have you ever tried to kick a hockey puck past a top 10 goalie in the NHL while falling on your ass in skates? Nobody has. Good goal, Blackwood, Wedgewood, Morningwood, Avs in five

  4. What happens when you’re your foot is swept from behind…? It moves forward… he is falling. They called it a goal. Move on. Whine about something that matters.

  5. The TNT announcers were just silly talking about a distinct kicking motion. He’s falling, not kicking….never mind that he probably can’t see the puck at the time he’s “kicking.”

  6. Ronaldo couldn't have kicked that intentionally. No way that was anything other than flailing as he was falling.

  7. The thing is, you guys being from North America just having no idea of kicking (the ball, normally).
You know, it would be like Europeans commentators discussing a football game "oh, a QB was checked, he's falling down — how could he throw the ball?! He was just saving his elbow". So, a knowledge sharing: even falling down under attack, a player would try to kick (usually, a soccer ball — here, a puck).

  8. For the NHL to let you angle your foot as long as the skate is on the ice and to have allowed some goals they have in recent years. This even getting a look is a joke and makes the officials look like fools either on t he ice or in Toronto whoever called for this is a moron 🤦‍♂️
