I agree with the trending down 3rd pair. Can’t have 2 d that are slow of foot on the same pair. Stanley turned it over multiple times in his own zone on exit passes. Stl would salivate seeing that pairing. Thanks for the content!

I agree with the perfetti appreciation. Though he had a strong game. The 2nd line, even though they didnt produce points, they were strong all game.
Jets got extremely lucky. 3 horrible calls that led to all of their goals. That call on neighbors was absurd. Jets are down 2-0 after the first without that. Not to mention their goals were lucky and halleybuck was terrible again. That dude sucks . He can't see through traffic and he let in two he was looking right at. Most overrated goalie of all time
Thankfully we have some big players, because even as it is the Blues are throwing the body around a ton. Great to have Stanley, Schenn (though slower and more clumsy than Stanley), and Lowry.

I swear that with the last goal, Appleton purposely missed so that the puck would some back from the end boards for a perfect setup for Lowry. He knew he did not have a good angle to pass to Lowry (you could see him looking), so the way he took aim toward the net just seems more likely a pass (like some defensemen do when shooting from the point) rather than trying to score.
