@Devils du New Jersey

  1. I'd call this season a wash if I were New Jersey. Injuries just keep killing them. And it's obvious Carolina was smelling blood in the water.

  2. 2:55 Time for the devil's to go through a name change. Not to play devil's advocate, but dang with a name like that it's a vortex for negative energy.

    Why not New Jersey Chocolates or something ?

  3. They post 3 players? They lost by 3? There's only gonna be 3 games left in this series? The holy trinity of hockey

  4. Who cares? Take away the revenue generated by broadcasting rights, ticket sales, advertising, etc., and none of this bull** would ever be occurring in the first place. Deserving teams are subject to waisting physical energy and health risks for what? All of this bull** is just plain stupid (sorry , NHL). 🤷‍♂️👎✌️

  5. One of the most sad and pathetic games I have ever seen. The Devils might as well just forfeit the series.

  6. Markstrom letting in the first shot is such a markstrom thing, dont miss him in calgary at all.

  7. That slash should gave gotten him a 2, a five a game and sit for 7. There is no place for that. Since it was their own player, they should also be forbidden from replacing him for the series if he is unable to play. They should be required to play a short bench.

  8. The problem is the canes are like sharks as soon as the devils get the puck they can’t even keep it. Thank god for markstrom, also they should get rid of jack hughes he is always injured.

  9. As a Devils fan this game made me wince more times than a trip to an msg bathroom between periods 2 and 3. Carolina has such a dominating team this year Id be consoled with just one win this series. The Devils need a few more parts to be more of a playoff run team. But let's go Devils anyway!!

  10. Canadian here. New Jersey goalie should have gotten a minor penalty for slashing because he intentionally hit a player with his stick. The rules don’t differentiate between an opponent or a teammate who received the slash. It’s the intent behind the act.

  11. #1. Lots of black on the NJ uniforms, might not be easy to tell them apart out of the corner of your eye at game speed. This is one advantage of uni-colour uniforms (although they are ugly).
    #2. I wonder if goalie can get a 10-minute or game misconduct for blasting a team-mate like that (but I am not curious enough to look up the rules).
