If the Devils do get Quinn Hughes, it would be thru free agency. The Devils aren't trading for him.
Also, he said that he WANTS to play with his brothers. Doesn't necessarily mean that he will. I hope that he comes to the Devils, though.

Luke is going to sign in the 9 million dollar range. Quinn would be 10+ on his next contract. Then they will have to pay Jack more of what he's worth instead of Fitz low balling him again. I can't guess what that will be if he has another hot year next year and hopefully injury free. Yeah it would be great for us if we could do that and assemble a great team around them. I really dislike these salary caps. BTW I hope someone tells Markstrom to grow the F up and learn how to control himself. Slashing your own guy … dumb move.

Dreams do come true. I would make it happen asap if we don’t have to give up too much .or just wait till his deal is up, and sign him for nothing. Either way this will happen, Quinn Hughes will be a Devil for a long time!!
What team would give up any serious assets for him knowing he wants the devils. This puts a lot of pressure on that Vancouver gm..
