Thanks Lou
Lou's pettiness and stubbornness may be funny to some fans, but it's not good for the team. I'd rather have a competent GM who understands where the team is at and makes the appropriate moves. Let the poor man retire.
awesome stream
Lou brought this team back to relevance. No doubt. He made the NHL look at this team with seriousness. His term was 3 years too long. There are dark days ahead of us, but a GM with a vision and plan can stop tearing it down to the studs.
Lou's plan was to bring back Brock and Palms knowing their talents cap was WC2. Time for a change
With a new GM Horvat is more likely to be traded. He’s 30.. Isles will not be competitive for at least 3 years, how does that work?
Finally the Isles are newsworthy! 😅😂😅😂
Great Video, as usual, guys. I had an idea that this was on the horizon. I wish him well in his future endeavors, however, as I've been telling you guys all along, the failure to get better & younger was A Huge Issue.
We all like Lou Lamarillo, to a point, however, all of us saw the handwriting on the wall, so you have to ask, Why Didn't He See It? With all due respect, As You Sow, So Shall You Reap.
Anthony. I'm sorry that I have not asked you this before, but, do you think that Lou/Barry is one reason John Tavares left for The Toronto Maple Leafs?
Wouldn't it be weird for Fans of both teams, if Chris Drury got let go by The Rangers & if they hired Lou Lamarillo & The Isles hired Chris Drury? Nobody (Big Apple Hockey and/or Rangers Central) scream. LOL
Good Riddance finally
I disagree. I think ownership are making this move knowing that whoever comes in will see this train wreck of a team and realize that we are going to need to be bad for a little bit to be able to build back up. There is literally nothing we can do this offseason that will make our team significantly better barring miraculously signing Marner. Our older guys have next to no value so you are not getting some great young guy in return. We need to suck for the next 2 years, draft really well, get out from under our awful contracts, sign younger guys, and come back stronger. This is not going to be a quick fix, and anyone who thinks that a new GM is magically going to fix this team overnight is deluding themselves. I can’t wait to see what the new GM does, but I know that in order to be better we are going to have to take a step back in order to go forward.
