Flyers are grand
Flyers are a weird team where they have a great mix of proven vet talent and top young talent where they could shock people and make a deep postseaston run. They also could blow up and not make the playoffs so.
Look, TB, the Caps, Pens, B's, Leafs & the Rags are in with their massive upgrade leaving only 2 spots. The Habs and Cats are both better than the Flyers so I can't see a playoff berth either.

The signing of Hayes gives the Flyers just enough to be in the conversation for a 6-8 seed…but make no mistake, they are not winning a playoff series. and are now a distant 4th in the city behind eagles, Sixers, Phillies. Well, one thing to cheer about: an Ex-Flyer is NOT the GM (which was the case for 30+ years). Now, if they can only get rid of the ex-Players who are in top front-office positions who have no business being there. All they do is take up space. It would be good to see some of their prior draft picks (Sam Morin, Farabee, Frost, et al ) make an impact in training camp and make the team…and reverse the trend of drafting career minor leaguers who will never see the light of the NHL. Hopefully, the rising tide of mediocrity will start to subside.
The flyers had an opportunity to do something regarding the fact that they missed the playoffs, but they instead choose to focus on someone who's been dead for 33 years

As a devils fan I think Philadelphia Flyers did good this year they had hope but then that losing streak of 3 I belive, made them not make it

I like watching the flyers at home. It’s just a certain atmosphere about it that I like. Win or loose I’ll love this team till I die
I haven't been this optimistic since the 2011 season.
The season could be a flop but I think they're going to be ready to take a couple steps forward.
They have some great vets and the young kids should be moving forward this season, plus the addition of Frost/Farabee.
Don't underestimate how badly they've been coached with Hakstol and Gordon.
This could be the beginning of a run as a top 3 team in the Metro.
