I know its too soon, but I got to say the Flames are a great home team now. This will allow them a chance at the 7th or 8th seed, just have to see how they do on the next road trip to Cali. Great to see the Flames being relevant again.
Shootouts are the biggest gimmick in all of sports because they have nothing to do with team play. Get rid of 'em. 5 minutes of 4 on 4 then 5 minutes of 3 on 3. No winner means a tie. Teams should get 3 points for a regulation win, 2 for an OT win, and 1 for a Tie or OTL. Perfect system.
