Same old Jets, same old Helly. 1st place and top goalie doesn't mean anything if you don't show in the playoffs. The party is over, the Blues want it more. You can't win with crappy goaltending and minimal goal scoring. Also doesn't help their penalty killing has tanked and their power play is pathetic. Going to be an early summer for them.
Thanks again guys. Jets need to remember how they won so many games in the regular season. Hellebuyck has to stop overthinking and be himself.

If not it's over in 6 games back in St Louis. Hellebuyck has issues with pressure obviously and his awards only make him think he is good. He is not a battler he is leaky. It's a mistake to put the pressure on him by this coach when he is this fragile. Mark my words 7-0 and 6-0 is next
Edmonton changed goalies and won 2 straight games. Hellebuyck is no better than Skinner in net and if the coach can not see this or gm it's time they were replaced … Everyone is laughing at us now because they see it and our team has no clue he is soft in goal now.

I know not everyone likes to thinks of sports in terms of probability theory, but if you look at the current series odds, the Jets have a 63% of winning the series. Would you agree with these odds? Or do you think its much closer to 50/50 at this point? A lot of times the money shuffled in preflop before the series started with these series bets, so it does not always adjust for what people who have watched these games are seeing. My theory is that winnepeg really needs to win this next game or they might be cooked. It feels like a must win.

I've always said Helly is a great reg season GTer, but has never played elite and carried the Jets in the playoffs. Rinse and repeat again with him. Jets fan should never use the term "great" with Helly until he actually wins something.
Helly has not proved himself as a gamer. The lights get bright they dry up. Binner had proven himself again and again he steps up when it matters and is needed. Binner steals away goals many times this series helly just has not.
I’m a Blues fan that stumbled across this video. For Blues fans it’s been 4 good games, the first two games could have been won by either team. Winnipeg had a terrible 3rd game and seemed to come out strong for game 4. It would be hard for either team to feel like they have this series locked up and I look forward to an exciting final 3 games. Good job on your content and LGB

Blues have grit from overcoming a horrible first half and coach change. They had to get better ti get where they are. Winnipeg is a better overall team but they didn’t have to overcome adversity this season. Not saying they don’t deserve to be where they are, they just seem like they got too comfortable being top dog.

It’s a long and winding road teams embark on in the postseason. If a loss is discouraging..disillusionment you can have all summer long..but engage the battle a game at a time..come out and win..you are that much closer to the summit. It’s a 16 game tilt to the end. Keep it going, guys!

Had 3 years to figure out why teams beat them. Teams game plan for them and the jets have 0 response! 0 production from 2nd and 3rd line. Terrible special teams. A tender who is unable to adjust and elevate his game. A 3rd pairing (whoever they put out) that can’t keep up. If they choke this series away they can’t come back with the same nucleus again. Been given so many chances year after painful year!!
Blues fan. I think too much of the blame is falling on Helle. Of those goals, the first was a high deflection, the second was a terrible screen by the jets defender, the third had two Blues standing untouched in the crease, the 4th bounced off the deferers ass.
While Helle hasn't been great, the defence in front of him has been the real problem. I know the goalie not making the save is the sexier story, but I think the Jets are getting out coached. The Blues adjusted after the loss the Jets did not.
PS Jets fans are great. If the Blues lose, Ill have no animosity and hope the Jets beat the Avs.
playoffs is another level and gear. your either built for it or have the nard's to fabricate it on the fly. the latter is much harder but can make you a legend.

Boy, Jets have to be concerned. They got their butts kicked in both games in St Louis. Arniel was not able to counteract the Blues rush after the first game there. That's a clear problem with coaching. And their 2 home games were both close, where the Blues could have taken at least one. Given the large difference in goals scored, the Blues are now the favourites. The next Jets next home game is a must win. If they lose that one, they will get murdered when they go back to St. Louis and are out golfing. And they have to lead by 3 goals early to take the wind out of the Blues. Pull out all the stops Jets- this is it!
Blues fan here…As an NHL nut and fantasy hockey guy as well, I wish Ehlers and Holloway were both fully healthy for this series for both teams. Two players that would be helping both teams tremendously. This is not all on Helly in my opinion the past two games. He cannot stop what he cannot see. The Jets forwards need to backcheck more right? The problem with that though is the Blues D are just peppering from the point like crazy so what does Arniel focus on to stop the Blues from doing?
The Blues youth are just insane skill wise moving forward–at forward. 7 guys in system or on team now all under 25 you should have nightmares about the next five years. Snuggy literally just left his dorm at Univ of Minn for this series lol and Bolduc are both on #1 power play. Sick.
But–THIS year is the Jets time–not the Blues. If the team I bleed Blue for loses this series I will be 100% rooting for the Jets to come out of the west. Love your fans—and have always had massive respect for guys like Kyle Connor who to me is by far the most under rated player in the NHL. Let's have this one go 7 and enjoy every moment.
