This franchise is so done, idk why I still care 😢
I was hyping Todd Nelson way back before they hired David Quinn(big mistake) but I fear he's not "glamorous" enough for Drury. Jeff Halpern would be a good choice & I like that Brian Boyle who has interacted with him feels he would be a very capable head coach. Actually I'm not too hyped about Carle because he really has no pro experience & these are not kids he'd be coaching. Forget Tocchet, Woodcroft & Leach. Other guys mentioned are Mitch Love(interesting guy) & Jay Pandolfo. I could see Drury hiring Joel Quenneville because he needs to protect his ass this coming year.
The team needs horses that can hit, score and can play D.
Why not at least interview Leach & Woodcroft? Ruling them out before even an interview; just saying. Tocchet maybe going to Philadelphia. Larry Brooks said Rangers are a no on Quenville. We know the reason & R's appear to want to go younger with their next head coach.
i'd love to get someone like David Carle, but my gut tells me it's going to be Torts…sigh
