Ottawa shouldn’t be that excited, they were totally out played. The win had nothing to do with the how well the stepped up for the game. Toronto definitely didn’t play as well as the previous games, but still much better than Ottawa.

Hate to say it, but Stolarz looks tired. There's NO REASON for Berube to keep pushing Stolly when you have a perfectly capable goaltender who is WELL rested in Woll to go in & play game 4 to push the series, or, if he loses in a close one, who cares? It gives him play time & Stolarz some well needed rest. Bad decision by Berube. Psychologically speaking, it would be two positives if you tell Stolly to get some rest to be fresh for round 2 & Woll gets some work. Ah well, I'm far from a coach or ex-NHLer. Just my two cents worth.

When it comes to the Leafs, I wouldn't be shocked to see them choke and lose 4 in a row. They are one of the worst playoff teams who see their top players unable to perform in the playoffs. There's no one who has shown the ability to just take over a game and win it all on his own. This is what the Leafs haven't understood with their core players, it's not that they aren't good, it's that none of them are good in stepping up to the plate in crunch time!!!

This is the only highlight pack on the internet that I can find that even includes the huge elbow to the head on JT in overtime. It's insane to me that no one cares about this! This was a massive missed call. Could have been a misconduct and would have completely changed the rest of the game. On top of everything, Tavares has to sit out for half of the period in concussion protocol. No one is talking about it. WTF?
Tuesday night in Toronto will be the end of Ottawa's season.
Then it will be time to get rested up and prepared for the battle against TB or Florida …they will go 7 games and be tired for round 2 and Toronto will be rested and will win the series and move on to Conference Finals for first time in over 20 years!
