While it stings, I’m so freakin proud of the Habs this year. They were at a 1.96% chance of making on December 14th, so the fact they even made it here makes this season a huge success. Congratulations Caps, but the Habs future is shining brighter than a star.

The first two games set the tone and made the difference. Caps too physical for the Habs. There was no good reason not to play Xhekaj from the very beginning. It would have given the Canadiens more confidence and the Caps would have shown more respect. Let the kid play the game he’s capable of MSL or find the right coach with more experience to take this young team to the next level.
