I think it will be a tough series. Close, hard fought games but Florida is just a more complete team. Florida in 6. Very likely that all but one game will be a one goal differential minus empty netters

With the injuries, Florida getting knocked out in the first round was wishful thinking. Tampa is an amazing team, and the cats controlled the series all the way

I am a Panthers Fan, but i will say this: if the top 4 for the Leafs ends up disappearing again in one or more games it is over for them. It is the playoffs and the Panthers know how to punish you if you do not bring you A game every night. I hope for a great series either way. I do think with the addition that zito brough this years Panthers are even scarier than last year.

I just don't see the leafs being able to do much against playoff Panthers. I'm sure the individual games will be close-ish, but I just don't see any scenario in which this leafs team wins 4 out of 7 games against this Panthers team. Tbh I don't see any team, east or west, winning 4 out of 7 games against this Panthers team. Looking forward to seeing how things shape up in the first couple of games of the 2nd round.
The stage is set up for a huge upset by the leafs.
Can they? Of course. Will they? Is another question. They've got more talent than Florida, but we know looking at talent alone doesn't just = wins. These leafs have lost several rounds despite being the more talented squad on the ice. It's time the leafs use more than raw talent to compete. Gotta use their experience from past years and get the grit necessary to lock in.

My prediction for the first round was leafs in six games, but when I announced it I went against my instincts and I said leaves in five. This time around with Florida my instincts are telling me it’s gonna be a leafs sweep Florida’s not gonna know what hit them but of course to not Sound insane I was going to say leaves in six games. But I don’t care I’m going with my gut leaves are going to sweep the Panthers.
