Good show Andrew. The Blues have been playing well and this series is going to be a real challenge for the Jets. One thing I note about the Jets' weakness is that defence doesn't challenge enough at their blue line. They seem to let the team get in their end too easily. Hopefully they tighten up for the remaining games. Go Jets!

Up early,Down early up late, down late…. high-scoring, low-scoring…none of it matters… the Jets just seem to KNOW they will come back, shut it down, protect the lead, tie the game…whatever wherever however…they have no doubt no questions…just the knowledge that they will ignore the fates, the history, the bad calls, the cheap shots, the mistakes and accidents and adversity and JUST FUCKING WIN THE FUCKING GAME…
It's just different in all my 43 years as a Jets fan I've never seen a Jets team like this.

People criticized the Jets for a lack of moves at the trade deadline. Getting Luke Schenn for the back end was a perfect selection and exactly what the Jets needed. Tanev was just a bonus energizer bunny of a player.

I am from Montreal (living in TO now) but, love this Jets team- really think this could be their year- much of Canada is behind this team- Montreal was the last Canadian based team to win the Cup- that was 32yrs ago!!! many, many Canadian kids and young adults have never experienced a Canadian team winning it all!!!
With how Tanev and Iafallo,Dolan,Neidereitter have filled positions.
If you were jets maybe if you get down you should but I almost rather have Ehlers or Villardi more healthy for the winner of Dallas/Colorado.
Then the possibility of them come back to soon and Injured again.
Scheifele is a changed player and human. All the stories how he didn't play defence,his attitude,the Wheeler/Maurice days. After Lowry got Captain/Hawerchuk passed he has changed bought in signed that long term. Imo other fanbases don't pay attention to us one of the best Canadian players should have been 4 nations and Olympics next year.
If you made a trade offer most of that team for Scheifele role he plays Chevy would reject everyone not Crosby,McDavid,McKinnon. He's in the next group of guys with Point,Marner.
And the bottom half Marchand,Konecny,Reinhart,Hagel,Bennett,Cirelli arnt close to what Mark brings to jets.

Gotta disagree with that final analysis of Hellebuyck. How quickly we forget about the years when Bucky single-handily carried the team. Doing this won him two Vezinas already.

Yes they have two wins…..only 14 more to go! Yet….they must take one game at a time and not look past the Blues because the Blues will not bow out without a dogfight and their goalie can win games for them. Jets will need their A+ game to take two more wins from them and Helle needs to be consistent for this to happen.
