  1. He wanted $9 Mill … love u Brock but thanks for the memories… Just never was a fast skater and too slow now…

  2. Suter 5 mill 5 years, Brock 6,5 7 years. IF not let the guy go Suter sign please .Suter can play on wing. Bring in Danovan Arsenault young guy will score 16 plus goals a year. He is strong and better scater than Brock.

  3. I don't know who can afford to pay 6 x $8.5 million as almost every team is cash strapped. The few that have lots of room are bottom feeders. He's been a great player for us, but we can't afford him.

  4. Suter was on a contract year. What a surprise he got career high in goals. And he played on the top line. No kidding he's going to get goals and points. Someone has to get points. If he's going to be a no 1 or 2 center which is not going to happen, he should get paid $4mil + contract. But he's a 3rd and 4th line center. Pay him as such.

  5. Marner $14-15m AAV
    Ehlers $10-11m AAV
    Boeser $8-9m AAV
    Kuzmenko $6-7m AAV
    Suter $4-5m AAV

If Boeser wants $8m, I rather pay a bit more and get Marners or Ehlers.

Should have bite the bullet and sign Guentzel for $9m last year. Now it is hyperinflation and Boeser wants $8-9m LOL. If everyone wants a $2-3m hyperinflation raise, sign the most expensive guys so it doesn't hurt as much relatively. $12m inflated to $15m is less damaging than $6m inflated to $9m.

  6. Sorry brock back to minny you go. Wanting 9mil for 25 goals is insane when you cant do anything else

  7. I’d just like to note that Suter + Bluger on PK have been absolutely beasts. I know there’s forbert and Marcus putting in work, but those two towards have been absolutely amazing in that.

  8. I'd take Boeser in Detroit with that contract. Ideally it would be 5 years, but 6 isn't a deal breaker. He'd be a very nice fit on the top line with Larkin and Raymond. His role would be to dig the puck out of the corners, and with those two feeding him he'd have plenty of scoring chances around the net.

  9. It's not Boeser's fault- it's Petey's fault for not making good plays. Just give him the 8×9! Boeser should be fine by the time he turns 36 + cap should be much higher by then. Same with Suter- give him $5M. Resign both of them and trade Petey (+Willander as well if needed) for Stammer (or another true 1C) this summer, or Allvin should go too

  10. Gotta say goodbye to both. $5M for suter is way too much, I'd rather overpay for a guy like Bennett in FA or save that space for a C in a trade.

  11. I'm fine with Suter at 4m but not 5m. Honestly Boeser at 8m or less or we walk is where I stand. I don't even want to give him 8 if I'm being 100% honest. Love the guy, but business is business.

  12. The fact that there aren't many good UFA options this offseason and the cap going up, he'll get the $8M from someone, but over 8 years is a reach.

  13. They offered him 8 per year over 5 so its pretty close… he just wants that at a longer tenure

  14. What a gongshow in Vancouver. This team will most likely miss the playoffs for the next 4- 5 years. I am sure Debrusk must regret signing long term
