I don’t get what people are missing about the challenge. Watch Kane’s skate the entire time. He’s in the crease and his skate is interfering with Kuemper’s ability to move and his ability to put his leg down. That’s goaltender interference and that’s how it gets underneath him and into the net. That’s the definition of goaltender interference.
That said, still a stupid challenge given they’ve already reviewed and overturned one call in the same play, it’s very unlikely that they’re going to actually review the play a second time. They spent less than a minute on the review, so I doubt they looked at it seriously.

Then he could also choose Rantenen's third period game 7 hat trick to steal that win from his former team, a team with a gutted farm system and no draft capital for the next three years. Finally, to bring an honorable mention for the blues seemingly choking even harder than the Avs. Exception would be the blue's goalkeeper as he had nearly 50 on target shots to deal with by the time the double overtime game finished, while his opponent dealt with nearly half as many.
