  1. Tomorrow's game is goona be a bloodbath. Domi vs. Bennett will be a treat. Bobrovsky can expect some additional traffic too. Can't wait.

  2. Round two and Bettman will make the refs put their whistles away on calls to the Panthers. After taking one goalie out….Bennet elbows Stolarz in the back of his head. Show it in real time vs slowmo and it looks worse. Then in the third period. No call on another Panther running Woll. Watch all the Canadian teams left get bad call in Bettmans league

  3. As a criminal lawyer and psychologist all u need to see as proof that Bennett intended harm is the fallow threw on stolarz.
For testament of Bennett's character look at the hit on Knies 2 years ago by Bennett as it was clearly an intent to kill by driving Knies head into the ice after the hit putting him out also.
Bennett is clearly suffering from some type of psychopathy as a result is not fit for contact sport this leave s the league liable as a pattern of neglect to protect players has been set bu Bennett. Last , criminal charges should be laid on Bennett and the league .

  4. THE REAL INJURY TO STOLARZ IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK. IT'S MUCH MORE SERIOUS AND POTENTIALLY CAREER ENDING.
The INTENTIONAL injury to Stolarz is what in medical terms is called a crush injury. Normally, an injury like that is only suffered when you get T-boned on the driver's side in a car accident or during an earthquake when a building collapses on top of you. Normally you don't survive. In this case because the rest of his body didn't get crushed, he's alive. But if the injury is as severe as it could be, life for him won't be worth living. You are shooting pool. The cue is Bennet's glove. The cue ball is his ear. The intermediate balls lined up touching each other are the outer ear, the now compressed air inside the ear canal, the eardrum, the delicate bones – hammer, anvil and stirrup, the oval window and the cochlea. The cochlea is the last ball and that is where the full force of Bennet's glove ended up. The cochlea is the organ that controls balance. Once that is damaged, recovery can be from a day to never. That organ controls whether you live as a normal person or as a person who can become dizzy and horribly sick in an instant for years if not life.

The other effect is tinnitus. That is popularly known and misunderstood as ringing in the ears. If that is all Stolarz gets, he'll be lucky. Most professional musicians develop it. That is the mild form or Stage 1 Tinnitus. Stage 2 is when you have more than just a ringing. You can have many sounds at once, in both ears, all random noises including what sounds like voices. Stage three is the dizziness, nausea and head noises. There is no escape but sleep, if you can sleep. Stage 4 is when the noise is so loud, hearing aids can no longer help because the noise is louder than the voice(s) you are trying to hear.

I've had this progressive condition since I was seven years old and have done a lot of research into it. The Ear Nose and Throat specialists who claim to be experts are essentially as clueless today as they were in 1957 when mine started.

Bennet should be severely sanctioned for what he did to Anthony Stolarz. I'm sure that when he did it, he thought it was an innocent bump he could get away with but when you point an empty gun at someone, you are held accountable when the bullet kills the target. This is an injury that I'd be surprised if Stolarz fully recovers from. Even if he survives the playoffs and his hockey career, that injury will eventually be back to haunt him. This is a tragedy in every sense of the word.

  5. PFFFFF, nevermind the game itself, Joe alone is worth the listen! I love hearing him calling games. Past that, if the contact on Stolarz was deemed intentional and a suspension rendered, should the suspension be as long as the injury recovery be?

  6. Now THAT's how you cover a Hockey Game. Great play-by-play, (opinions/favoritism aside) The excitement was palpable. Next Game, Please!

  7. jesus can you get more homer play by play guys its gagging be a pro and call game right and is that uhaul mathews going to show
up or another yr he disappears

  8. It’s a joke how the Leafs are treated by the NHL, the NHL Department of Safety and the Officials. It’s beyond F’d up.
What a joke this game was.
Sam Bennet gets off Scot free for deliberately taking out the hottest goalie in the league. Just disgusting.

  9. I'm not surprised the Leafs announcers weren't happy their team was called for too many men on the ice when there clearly was.

  10. The league is a joke George parros is a POS and the fact that the deputy commishs son is the assistant GM of Florida tells you everything

  11. The commenator saying the "Too many men on the ice" call was "Chintzy" is peak homerism.

Bro @ 3:43 the leafs had 8 guys on the ice 😂9 if you include Stolarz😂

  12. I'm not even a Leafs fan but man I could listen to Joe Bowen all day. Not happy about my fellow Jersey boy having to go to the hospital, hopefully he's good to go for game 2.

  13. leafs were on fire thanks to their heavy hitting (Mcabe, knies and PAchority wow) , except Woll, who sheit the bed. two soft goals over the blocker shoulder ( needs to be at the top of the crease if on his knees). Mathews MIA

  14. Don't specifically target that rat Bennett. Leafs need to keep taking the body when the opportunity is there. They hurt Tkachuk, Barkov and several d- men with clean checks. Wear the bastards down, boys!

  15. So the refs tryed to help FLA win but it didn't help.
Then Bennett takes the goalie out but that didn't help.
I hope TOR plays with a more physical edge next game.
Take Holmberg out and add in a player who doesn't get knocked down every time he touches the puck!!
