  1. What a game. Wish blackwood had some of those goals though, post on on some shots, this could have been a dominant ave win. Ottinger definitely their mvp. Hopefully Cales open net give him some relief.

  2. From the highlights, I'm glad the Avs won. I think it is safe to say that it was expected, but sorry, I am not on the super-excited train. They gave up 4 goals on 9 shots in the second based on the stats I see, blew a lead, and were losing to start the third. It is simple: They will not win in Dallas with that kind of garbage hockey. They looked flat-footed in the second, and Roope Hintz smoked Girard and the rest of the defense on several breakaways. It appears the Avs still have not figured out how to stop the Stars' second line. Blackwood has just been stellar in this series and deeply needs rest to pull out a win in Game 7. I don't know what is going on with Makar, but he looks horrible on defense sorry Shaggy, I don't agree with you on Makar, he had a great pass to Necas on his Necas' goal, however, the baseball lesson is when the pitcher pitches the ball, "always be moving your feet", the Avs are not going to win in Dallas if they are not moving constantly for 60 mins. I think the only way they win this game is if all lines find a way to score and score quickly in Dallas to build a lead and take the refs and Ottenger out of the game. Hopefully, the third time to win a pivotal game is a charm. This is the third game that is pivotal in the series. I think DeBoer is 8-0 in Game 7s, so the stats don't look favorable to the Av's. Fun Fact: Had the Avalanche played to win all their regular season games down the stretch instead of resting people, they likely would have overtaken the Stars in the standings who were mired in a 7 game losing streak, and had that happened, we would have had Game 7 in Ball Arena, fun fact and some assumptions the Av's would have won enough games to overtake the Stars in the standings. Exactly Chris on your assessment with the number of quality chances, with 19 grade a chances they should have buried the Stars.

  3. Reffin' was slightly better this time, but I still think they should be teaching seeing-eye dogs how to skate.
    Meeko? Who dat?
Avs need to practice on slush to prep for the American Airlines lightly chilled pool.

  4. Wyatt Johnson -5, Jamie Benn -3, because they got matched up with the Avs 2nd line. At Dallas, that goes away. How the Avs handle that will decide the game.

  5. As an outspoken proponent of “now that sports gambling is legal everything is rigged” I’m glad to celebrate our game 7 victory. Pete deboer is 8-0 career in game 7. Avs have lost 6 game 7s in a row. Dallas at home. “Smart” money will be on Dallas to win. But smart people know that the house always wins. Avs take game 7 4-2 book it dano

  6. At 4-4 I left to work and started playing the offspring looking for #1 and in 10 second i did not had to look anymore. It was 5-4 and smile in my face. Soundtrack for today was the offspring-supercharged album which was nonstop in my ears today 🙂

  7. Im with Shaggy on groaning when we get a powerplay. It feels like an interruption to the Avs flow and they just go to passing endlessly

  8. Thank everything for ice hockey. It is literally one of the only loves I have left in this hate-filled world. The United States is basically on the brink of Civil War pt 2, entire rest of the world is either at war or gearing up for war, but thank god I've still got hockey. I'm pretty sure if ice hockey didn't exist I would have probably mentally snapped by this point.

  9. glad necas finally scored but to me hes still not skating at all , still seems like hes playing rec out there he can step it up wayyy more on the effort and the speed ,like to see him shoot more to hes passed away alot of grad A shot chances ,he has the snipe he needs to use it

  10. Do you think the NHL will punish the Stars after the Stanley Cup. I cannot see anyway that Bischel could possibly pass concussion protocol. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad he came back and what I like about hockey over the other sports is how these guys play through injuries during the playoffs, but leagues and the public take concussion issues differently. If they do punish them I hope it’s just a fine and not anything more
