Elliot is beautiful
So early it’s all bots
Mike Sullivan signing with The Rangers is huge. Adding JT Miller and Mike Sullivan definitely makes the future bright in NY.
Love the podcast and have been a loyal listener, but I’ve got to say I’m disappointed with how one-sided the coverage of the Blues/Jets series has been. Not much meaningful attention was given to St. Louis throughout series. As a Blues fan, it’s frustrating to see a great series framed so heavily from one side. I know the Jets are the bigger story in Canada, but there's a story here about the Blues being ahead of schedule and housing talent (e.g. Thomas) that have been grossly under showcased on national platforms.
22:00 silly pet peeve of mine: when people say “he needed to make one more save than the other goalie”. NO! He needs to allow one fewer goal than the other goalie. Look at game 5–Kuemper had 22(!) more saves than Pickard and still lost.
The Wild don't have the horses to go deep in the playoffs right now. If they're going to contend in the Central, they need several pieces. We'll see what Guerin can do this summer.
Hellebuyck gave up three goals on only 19 shots. It’s not like he was good. I’m not sure why people keep saying he played a good game in game 5.
Elliot I heard you mention that on the broadcast about how Tkachuk doesn't care about moral victories….. before Bieksa butted in to cut you off and sh*t all over the notion to add his two cents. (When Mclean literally just gave you last word) That guys ego is such a problem and i can't wait till it gets him fired.
The supporting cast won this series
I won't be a hermit because this exemplifies what LA kings organization is. True Kings fans are used to this BS and we deserve much better.
I'm sorry guys but the Oilers are not that good, they are a two-trick pony and there is zero chance they can match up to teams that actually have 4 lines. The Kings, unfortunately, ran out of gas, because of a total collapse in coaching! No team in the NHL can win in the playoffs unless you play 4 lines. Games 3 challenge was the killer, and Game 4 Hiller put the wrong players on the ice when they needed to lock down the game
