Some trivia: I was actually at Game Three, Eastern Conference Finals between the Leafs and Hurricanes in 2002. The parking lot in Raleigh was filled with several thousand Leaf fans who had driven fourteen hours to see the game, which the Canes won 2-1 in OT. Was exciting to be there – but this was also the waning years of the Dead Puck era. The hockey itself was boring as hell, compared to nowadays.
