Sorry sully but you dont have the horses to be competitive, hell we traded away the better players to keep the stiffs. How about a defenseman who can clear the crease,oh wait we had one in trouba, how about a big center oh wait we had one with buchnevich and we traded and got sammy blais haha, a number 2 draft pick who got little ice time and is playi g out west and doing well, but we have a number 1 pick who has done next to nothing and we give him a monster contract, as long as drury is running the ship 5th place finishes will become common. I am 66 yo and i told my sons in 94 to enjoy this because it my be the last one we see. I sure hope im wrong
News flash the Rangers were an embarrassment last year not because of their coach but the soft players.

After what we all just witnessed this season, this man has his work cut out for him. These players he signed up to coach are all sissy boys. Not a lot of dogs in this yard.
Fox is elite? Sorry Mike, Fox WAS elite. He is now damaged goods. I hope you prove me wrong but I know the injury, high probability you never fully recover. Good QB, yes, good passer yes, but were you there for the 4 nations when he f’d up and lost the key game for USA? 😂😂. Did it multiple times to NYR this year. Bad pinch. Get beat, too slow to get back. And soft, my my is he soft….Any way, this was like a “power of positive thinking” seminar. Nice. Pablum. But what else can he say? He is prob an OK coach, hope so, but walking into that Pitt roster 10 years ago,it was primed for him and he got 2 quick Crosby Cups. Last 8 years, quite Average. Last 3 years, below average. I just don’t think the NYR players are driven any more. Hope I’m wrong.
Ok, the past season was disappointing and parts of the commentary justified, but the negativism here is really disgusting. Things are not that bad and a turnaround, especially with a fine coach as Sullivan are very likely. Put on ceiling on the bitching!
