The fake laugh is weird
I wonder how much money Tocchet made on betting against his own team like in Phoenix with Gretzky ?!
thank god we didnt get him for another 5×5.
More shots at and on net, usually means more chances of scoring. Less shot attempts and less shots on net usually means less chances of scoring. Don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure that one out. What a horrible coaching style. How Hughes supported this is beyond amazing. LMAO.
You’re actual going to find someone that can get the best out of EP40?
Petterson rebounding next season.
What good defense first half of the series?
You guys also realize that the Canucks are way better now than they were before Tocchet was hired. Remember, this dude is the only reason why you guys were in a spot last year.
Dump the puck in and go for a line change doesn’t score goals. Tocchet gambling junkie ruined the Canucks.
Why, if you're the guy on the ice, with teammates, would the coach be inside you're head? No way. You're tryin to score.
I dont understand..he want shots from the point, yet so much time tryinto do a down low play. Hroneks shot from the point? When did that happen as the season progressed. Hughes..the same. Those bullets wired into the net..gone.
Then the top offensive players gone..Horvat, Miller, Kuzmenko…
Its doesn't make sense… what'd he expect. He removed himself saying goodbye to a huge deal$$$.
Whatever..
Bring kuzy back and get a coach that actually wants plays down low, kuzy and ep40 would do bits next year. No wonder ep40 point production dropped. Imagine tocchet coaching McDavid and telling him to dump it back to his d man lmao
Because, the job of coach is to teach scenarios. “If this happen, players needs to be here.” Systems are rules and guidelines. You can’t have a close minded style because it will get figured out. I see the d to d logic but if I see a player on the slot or back door, why can’t the player shoot from the half board. I think it’s stupid.
Tocchet’s winning percentage is 0.517% in 9 seasons as a head coach! Thank god he moved on from Vancouver! What’s concerning is that management was willing to extend him for five more years with these poor stats: – Shots for (32nd)
– Goals for (23rd)
– Goals for/60 (31st)
– High dangers chances for (30th)
– Shots/game (30th)
When every offensive player, specifically you’re best players are slumping, it’s your system – not your roster!
I agree , too many guys had career years and it's why you don't negotiate in those said years as well. 50+ years (and the headaches and bald head because of all the hair pulling) and for what,!!!??? No cup!!!! Fantastic job boys.
Hire Wayne Gretzky as coach. He will bring some offence to this team. I think it’s time he put his hardships with the nhl behind him and got back into hockey.
I have not been a fan of rigid Tocchett so far in his coaching career. AV had been rigid in his first year but then become more adaptable in his golden decade of coaching the Canucks towards Game 7 of Stanley Cup Final in 2011 before his shelf life expires.
I can't wait to watch Philly or whoever hires him next because they will struggle as much as Vancouver and Arizona did and Vancouver will have a coach that can lead them to a bounce back year and make the playoffs
Someone show Petey this.
The Canucks are bums and we’re always gonna be bums..
