Wow. After watching Columbus vs. Tampa Bay, the Islanders's offense looks much slower and less creative in comparison, yet they're so stingy due to their defense and goaltending they can afford it. The first half of their shots on goal looked like they were shooting at Murray hoping it'd miss and go in the goal. Their solidly low GAA allows them to keep on trying, though. Good on them!

This series even seems to have the attention of NYC print media! During the whole regular season, they were following the Rangers, Yanks and roundball teams, ignoring Long Island. Of course, the Rangers and Devils are down south playing golf. It’s been a rough series so far especially from the Isles’ Fourth Line. In game three, we’ll see if the Pens can respond.
