The Maple Leafs are owned by an Entertainment Company not a Hockey Company. The Corporate Culture is to entertain first and to win third. Secondly they are to sell food, drinks and apparel. The question at the Board level is the bottom line not the Cup. So fans just relax. The Leafs are making money and that is their number one goal. As Donald Crump said long ago, “if we win the Cup our Salaries next season go up more than the revenue, so it’s not good for the bottom line to win the Cup.” And that permeates the entire Corporation’s Culture subconsciously especially in spite of the Hillman Hex. So Dangle wake up. Get with the Corporate program. We enjoy your evoking for the Leaf fools their pain.

this isn't the same as the other times they forced 7 cuz they were in those series. they weren't even kinda close in the last 2 games. the league allows florida to beat the shit out of people, usually illegally, and it works; these guys can't play through it. woll making bad passes all night that get his defence crunched, he doesn't talk to them either….outside of 2 stolarz shutouts this team is donezo.

Leafs is like a bicycle going fast downhill (regular season) and then crashing into a fire hydrant (playoffs). Every single May.
I said it 100 times during the stream but imagine that being your last home game for your childhood team in the playoffs? How could you go home and look your kids in the eyes after that. Trade Mathews.
After game 3 and 4 I scoffed at other "fans" that b#tched about Matthews' lack of scoring – game 4 was an utter egg, from everyone (other than Woll) including him but the argument I made was him playing a complete game, especially defensively. Tonight, no more excuses I'd have to look it up but the first goal they looked immediately dejected and it was the top line on the ice. Like Steve, I'm done with this garbage at this point; 3-5 years ago I said don't pay Willy, choose Mitch (I had seen him play throughout his Marlies years live in the playoffs and he never went into the corner or cared at all when he didn't have the puck); now I again, agree with Steve don't even attempt to sign Mitch again, where the hell does his confidence go to this time of year. Meanwhile, we have STELLAR goaltending from two goalies, and yes WOLL included (there is only 1 bad goal thus far, the rest are all solid tips/screens/crashes/point-blank-no-hope or complete flukes) and they are completely squandering it. We expected a tight series, game 4, meh, a blip if game 5 is back to normal. Tonight earlier on, they had low shots again but weren't completely laying the egg right away, they were just….off….and I don't get it, they have been a good home team despite our reputation having way to many corporate people not sitting in their seats, but the building was ready to cheer and what did they get? another WTFH was that?! game. I don't care what Matthews has done for the games before game 4 now….Friday he needs to lead these guys on the ice and show the world they are a team that deserves to be there and can win. They get the heart back, explode in transition, make life annoying for Bob and they have a shot; if they don't, BLOW IT UP. Idk what to do about JT because he's had moments of resurgence again but throw Mitch to the wolves immediately, Matthews can pair up with Willy or Nies. Domi needs a time out and reset or he goes too. Figure out what the hell Robertson is for the team, decide on Kampft long term (can go either way). No one should be truly safe other than the goalies; don't touch them, for the love of God just hope they stay healthy for now and ride what we have right now because they are putting up numbers they can rely on. Berube needs to sit Matthews down and bring him to the next level – he has played well in the new system overall, but when the going gets rough he needs to put this team on his back and score at LEAST once FFS – if changes don't lead to something next year, literally put him on the block too, just say "F it" we need an identity and he's not it. Again, I can't believe I can say this now, but Willy is the only one of the 4 who has consistently showed up for the past few years and is better than everyone else on the ice other than the Goalies; Tanev and Reilly are close runners up. I want to be-leaf…I really do, and I'm so sick of the negatively but I seriously considered dropping money to go to the game and I'm damn glad I didn't.

Playoffs thus far😠 personally, after the stolly hit in game one, they should’ve dropped gloves at game 2 puck drop, full on Shoresy and sacrificed a player to bring the lumber and take Bennett or Barcov out of the playoffs to send a MESSAGE 😡😡😡😡
It’s the arrogance of this fanbase that’s showing a lot this season, they never respected their opponents even the defending Cup champs… But also important is how bad the Toronto Maple Leafs organization is run, and the arrogance that comes from the top down! They don’t care about the fans only corporate money and that means there’s no heart at all, so what do you expect from the players… Even now some in the organization and fanbase think the Panthers are just “lucky” or “the refs”…
Part of me as an outsider really wants this team to win, but a large part of Leafs nation don’t even deserve it with how they act and are blind for the hard truths… I sincerely feel bad for the nice and common sense Leafs fans who do deserve more and don’t point fingers at everything other than this organization…
Matthews can score against teams like the Blackhawks, but can he score against teams like the Panthers? So he’s being paid to get to the playoffs, not be in the playoffs
I turned in when we were losing because game 2 was a come back win and I was at work so I had to watch you. So I turned in hoping it was spark a comeback but it only got worse
I hope Stolarz comes back because Woll has never won a series, he always comes in to replace an injured goalie, 2 yrs ago vs Florida and last year vs Boston. As for Robertson he should never have left.
