PK is right. Mediocre is what the leafs are in the playoffs. How can you be a 9 year straight playoff team and still look like its your first time here? Brutal. Its must win now, they better play their best two games of the season, not just playoffs because they played their worst in game. And if Marner and Matthews are no shows again its a loss.

Toronto Maple Leafs overrated as always. Edmonton Oilers shows playoff strength. It’s hard not to root for these guys.
I gave up on the Leafs years/decades ago. They just stink and have for a long time. So I say this with respect and concern. Do NOT blame these existing players. I am sure that many of them will have long and storied careers – with some other teams. I am sure that they and the coach and the management are trying their best. It's the franchise! Much like the Federal Conservatives it is lost and probably still possessed by the ghost of Harold Ballard. (I don't know who is possessing the Federal Tories). The ONLY solution is to either A) Move the franchise out of Ontario or 2) Dissolve it completely. And I'm not sure that moving it will remove the stink or the ghosts. ( :?C )

The morons in management keep building this team for the regular season. They need to build this team for the playoffs. Get rid of the core, they are useless players in the playoffs. This has been shown time and time and time again. Get players who have credentials in the playoffs for their teams. And get a starting goalie for Christ's sakes.
No bad news for the Stars. They're finally healthy, they're as deep or deeper than anybody and their goalie is playing outstanding. A rematch with the Oilers would be a classic matchup and must see hockey imo.
