Utterly baffling. How can you play so poorly and so underachieve in Game 5, then put up a defensive wall, a defensive jewel of a game to shut out, and I'll say it, the best hockey team in the world? Utterly baffling. I'll disagree with coach Berube. It's no fun at all for a Leaf fan. No fun at all. I don't even know where to begin for a Game 7. It's as crazy as a puck bounce. Just crazy.

Panthers had three slot shots – the fewest of any team in a game this postseason. Toronto’s D can easily repeat that kind of shutdown in Game 7. Better look out.

As Maurice said after game 5 when a reporter suggested the Panthers "now had the momentum" & that "Bob was rounding into form". His answer was "there is no such thing as 'momentum' in the playoffs in my opinion, as every game is different". He's right. I have no clue who will win on Sunday. It could be either team. We'll find out then.

Game 7 modern day Leafs incoming. We have seen this script. I assume this years script going like this: Panthers taking early lead, Leafs fighting for it to come back only for Brad Marchand to score the OT winner in 2nd or 3rd OT. Then they will tell media that they fought hard and left it al on the ice. For the 8th or 9th in a row or some shit lmao. Cycle continues and they keep their overpayed core which disappears every season come playoffs.

As a neutral I think the team with the best puck-luck in Game 7 will probably advance. The two teams are evenly matched skillset-wise and coached by the best in the NHL so my opinion is the team that wins this series is quite possibly the one that takes home Lord Stanley’s Cup?
Games like this make me proud to be a Leaf fan. I credit Berube and Treliving a lot for the team’s improvement this year.
