Couldn't agree more. Trying to get 20 super competitive dudes -with ramped up testosterone – to all be friendly with each other is near impossible.

We all have our opinions on who is right , who is wrong, but do we truly know the answer? Only God knows who instigated this whole mess. We need someone who is fair from the inside to step in and mediate as the judge on this issue and keep the whole matter private.

Any issues in the room are players ragging on each other because their game is off….they are calling each other out to show up and play hard. This is called team work…. sometimes your team mates will go…are you ill….injured… putting the sock on the wrong foot first… it does get funny.

In WPG it was Lowry when Ehlers/Laine/Others wernt getting along/different outlooks to Wheeler/Scheifele and why he was named Captain.

I kind of agree that this is a players issue. The problem is the leadership in the dressing room. Or lack there of. They are lacking strong leadership. The two assistant captains are feuding and the captain is too milk toast to do anything about it. Hughes should never have been given the captaincy.
Only way to fix it is to sit them down in front of the team and air oit the dirty laundry and squash it as a team. No media, no coaches, no GM. This needs to be a players only meeting and stop all this childish bs.
It's all about dumping salary. CAD is collapsing along with the housing market and the owners wealth is in real estate. I'm no Insider, but i bet the Aquallinis are losing big right now. Sell assets, cut costs. No Canadian team will be able to afford any NHL franchise as this collapse accelerates…

He's 100% correct, but it's not the world we live in today. Teams kow tow to their stars – and Pettersson's the (younger) bigger star. When your star says "that guy has to go" – today, they move them. If they don't, they know the NEXT thing the star says will be 'trade me'
Horvat, miller and Peterson. Their top three forwards a few years ago. They got rid of the two good ones and kept the shitty one. Peterson is the most overrated and overpaid player in all the sports anywhere in the fucking world

100% agree! The fact that 2 grown men couldn't play on the same team is disgraceful. Someone needed to sit them down and tell them to cut the shit, but from the players to the captain to the coaches to the management just let this happen and then we had to trade Miller for a bargain. Just terrible management all-round.
