Sens fan since the Hossa era here. As a passinate leaf hater, I've honestly never felt worse for the fanbase. The front office put together a genuinely awesome roster with a ton of depth and grit, and still, the best players are beyond dissapointment. The team culture starts with your stars; any player in the world would kill to play for a team with guys like Marchand, Tkachuk, and Bennett leading the charge. You can't just add a couple of grinders onto the fourth line and assume that'll fix the whole team.

I’m panthers fan, it tough to see leafs player go out with a bad energy after lost and Marchand was right, fan put too much pressure on the player, it really hard to see player with come out rink everyday and not feel a big pressure.

Marner set up McDavid for the winner in the recent 4 Nations tournament. Don't dump the guy. Move Tavares — too old, obviously — add another player or two. Stay the course, it's not that bad. Vancouver Canucks fan — I live in BC — I'd have sold a pretty big chunk of my soul to have the Leafs last 4 years in Vancouver. Yes, no cup; yes, disappointment. But a lot of good hockey. Get rid of the cap system and the Leafs and Rangers will dominate, as they should and as their respective fans deserve. Florida has a different tax system, it uses this. Vegas cheeses the LTIR. Stay the course.

As a Canes fan, damn. Just damn. I don’t even think that our entire 2010’s run of garbage can live up to this. And I was hoping y’all would win so we could run back the ECF from 2006. I stopped watching hockey a long time ago, but followed this playoff series and I never seen a bunch of soft, weak over paid bums play with no heart. These guy sucked hard in the Ottawa series and didn't deserve to come out of that. The coach they have is useless, the same dump and skate garbage that never changed. He has no emotions, clueless how the other team is playing and how to counter them. Next called a time out when they started to blow the lead in game 4. Most of these bum should be trader, the coach should be fired and the entire orginization that has is run by the biggest losers for the past decade thrown out. I will never watch another hockey game, it's too late for me and I frankly don't give a dam for this club. This team was a complete embarrasement. I don't mind the loss, it was they way they lost and didn't give a dam. Not one player stepped up.

Stars like Matthews are learning something the hard way. If you want ALLL the money, you best make up for the extra guy or 2 they could have spent extra money left on the table to acquire. The Pens, Tampa, and Boston had their stars, their leaders leave a little on the table to ensure they were surrounded by talent that could help them win. Sid could have asked for 10 or more easy, he didnt so that Malkin could be signed, so that a Kessel move could be made or an extra d man at the deadline could be added. Those true stars like Matthews simply do not look like they have an extra gear when it matters most.
