    Carolina actually has 2 shutdown lines, one is just more lethal than the other. Depth, goaltending, and special teams are the major factors this series.

    Why is the Eastern Conference final starting first?? The Dallas/Edmonton match-up was set first. Florida gets less than 24 hours rest. It's almost like the League wants them to lose.

    Svechnikov will be the x-factor. Missed the last meeting in 2023 due to the torn ACL and they really really missed his finishing during those four 1-goal losses

    He finally looks healthy. He’s finally playing competent defense without taking dumb penalties. He’s finally starting to scratch the surface of that “40+ goal gamebreaking superstar” trajectory he’d seemed to be on prior to said injury. If he vanishes or gets hurt, Canes are losing in 4-5 again, if he builds on that momentum and the Aho/Jarvis/Svech line is the best line in the series they’ve got a great chance to beat anyone

    Florida winning 4-0 in 2023 is a sweep. I get what Rod is saying, it was close, and it could've gone either way. But it WAS still a sweep by definition. Come on dude!
