If you are a Dallas Stars fan, you are Extremely LUCKY not to be in an even worse position than 1-2…the Stars had one very good 3rd period in Game 1 …and that has saved them from an 0-3 deficit.. they have been outplayed by the Oilers in the last 2 games
On the Oilers side everything seems to be going smoothly..and strangely it starts with their… defence? Stuart Skinner is a very streaky player and right now he seems to have won the biggest battle.. against his own mind and wavering confidence…he seems to be more relaxed than anything else.
The Panthers at this point are a near shoo in to reach their third consecutive Stanley Cup Final…and the second Florida based team to do it in the last 6 seasons after Tampa's run from 2020 to 22…A rematch with the Oilers should be one for the ages !

To be fair Dallas was the better team in the 2nd. That was when Stu and the Defence held strong. Oilers have figured out different ways to win and are getting scoring from everywhere…..And Ekholm hasn't even returned yet?….This is getting VERY interesting.
Each member of the team , really puts the T in that word. Each year in the playoffs , players get hot , others go cold , and on any one night , it’s the whole team pitching in which ever way they can to win a game.
Text book team chemistry , consistent , even , and with passion. Evander Kane and his alley oop pass was brilliant . They all deserve the accolades and praise , top to bottom .

I'm primarily a Hawks and Pens fan. Grew up in Chicago area, and my extended family is from the Pittsburgh area. I've also lived in Texas in DFW and Corpus Christi areas, as well as the Denver area, so I support the Stars and Avs. Looks like it is going to be an Oilers Panthers final, the 2 teams that I despise the most in the NHL. But I admit that there are several great Oilers players who are deserving of a cup win, especially McDavid, Draisaitl, Nugent-Hopkins. So let's just get it over with and behind us while my Hawks are rebuilding…
