The Oilers are unfortunately the better team. So sad about the first 3 games. We should be down 3-0
The reason Mikko isn't playing well enough is that the coach overworked him in the previous series.
Overcommiting constantly and giving the oilers odd man rushes is not a good strategy.. absolutely attrocious. This oilers team is very beatable and the stars can definately beat them but they need to play their game and forget about whats happened the last 2 because theyre handing this to the oilers on a platter.
Theyre already planning for the final guys.. get the f**k up and make em earn it. The score doesnt speak the game i watched and the stars can beat this obnoxious oiler team 100 percent.
Mikko Rantanen hit crossbar hurt. Oilers shoot high blocker side every time and score on Otter. No way was this his fault though. You can say offense nowhere to be found but they outshot them by a lot today. Skinner is not consistent but you gotta give him credit in last 2 games. 97’s play on goal at end of 1st period was out of this world to bank puck off the boards for odd man rush.
When do you guys expect to get Benn back in the lineup? You really could use some of that toughness that he's there to bring for the Stars.
Just imagine when the Oilers get their best defenseman back in the lineup, might have a roster spot opened up for him with the likely head injury cause by the Petrovic head shot when he didn't have the puck.

I don’t think people understand how serious the Oilers are talking these playoffs. I follow the team very closely and there all bought in from the coaching staff to the players to the goalies. Everyone is playing some incredible hockey for this team and to be honest the only games this team played bad was games 1 and 2 of the LA series. Vegas game 3 was a fluke and Dallas game 1 the Oilers played a good 40 minutes in that game. This teams chewing up there opponents in the playoffs and there not going to stop.
Oilers don't even need to play okay or good to win, its bizarre and annoying. They did the same thing to Vegas. Doesn't matter if you outplay them, they're INEVITABLE. I surrender. GO OILERS.

Oilers are clearly better! Lack of leadership, toughness and execution. Changes needed in summer with the cap situation. Robo needs to be traded along with Dumba to get something back and have some flexibillity. Bourque is a must-resign. Granny too. Nils and Ceci could be also be nice to have in the future. The others just arent showing up when it matters. Jamie maybe should retire. 😢 Biggest Problem is the Seguin contract. A lot of work for Jim. This team isnt there yet. And if you are honest, Stars were shaky the whole season.

Well , I love your podcast , think you are great , I am a fan listener . But … I have watched my stars since they came to Dallas . I think we are hearing them , coach included say the same thing we always hear …I have a hard time believing that the outcome will be any different. The oilers and their shitty fans are hungrier than the stars . The oilers are out playing us , they win most of the board battles , they exit their zone with little or no resistance.. that has to change if the stars are going to have a chance. in what world is ANY ref going to be able to see that puck through 3-4 players blocking his vision in real time with no video replay? I think maybe you should be a bit more realistic. Yeh, they got it wrong but It still led to an OFFENSIVE zone face off for Dallas. Maybe if DeBoer and the rest of the team focused on the game instead of throwing a tantrum that the refs got it wrong they wouldn’t have given up 2 goals. That’s on Dallas, not the refs.
I suffered through Edmonton out-chancing Hitchcocks Stars back in the day and losing anyway. I feel for ya Stars fans. But the Oil are on a MISSION and you stand between them and their goal. You can outplay them but you will not out-will them.
Series isn’t over. There have been missed calls on both sides, dirty plays on both teams, it’s playoff hockey. Oilers have been better so far, Dallas is very good, lots of hockey left in this series.

Okay, you're really rambling in this video. In one sentence, Skinner is "mediocre". In your next sentence, he's the difference make. Here's a stat … in his 30 playoff games, Skinner has been poor in 5 of them. For 25 games, his GAA is in the low 2's, and his SAV% is about .920. He might fall apart, but generally that happens early in series. He's been lights out games 4-7. So, sure, hope for the best … but expect the worst if you're a Stars fan.
Yes, sometimes the lucky bounce aspect will play a huge role in a game like this and it just didn't go Dallas's way. However, that being said, Edmonton is just the better team overall.

the issue isn't missed power plays. refs also missed multiple calls on dallas. it's the fact dallas can't score 5 on 5. they have very little in the way of hustle if they don't get a whiff of a power play.

Akso, my personal philosophy when i cant get something to work. I get a hammer. To take us out, you're going to lose your top players. Im not saying we should intentionally hurt an oilers player, otherwise we'd be no better than the oilers, but… Maybe send a message by roughing the golden boy.
This stars team just doesn’t seem to have the physicality required to win the Cup. I remember watching the Wings run from mid 90s – 2008. Man, was that team mean. You always knew that starting beef with them was a bad idea because Probert or someone else would definitely make you pay for it. Stars give no similar reason for teams to fear playing them.
if you going to look at call that should have been, i think you should also report all the information, both team got away with stuff and wrong calls hard to say reffing has been bias
