The cap space now is for guys like Wolf, Zary, Coronato and your top prospects in the future. We’re not overspending now so we can sign those guys and have the money when we’re more competitive to do those deadline deals and bring in solid pieces to help for a cup run. I would assume that’s Conny’s mindset
Conroy said they had offers to do it a few days before the deadline but teams wanted 2 years covered and they were hoping to only do some 1 year cap reliefs but it never materialized
