I think there is a better chance of getting Potter at 31 than Nesbitt. Nesbitt is final ranked @ 15 OA by Central Scouting. He may not even be available at 18. If he is I would take him. If not I would take Cootes ahead of Potter.
Zonnon is interesting. He had a great season, but really lit it up in the playoffs.
Trethewey is eligible, he is ranked top 50 by CS.
Not too knowledgeable about the lower ranked prospects. So I am just going to say "best center available" even if he is a longshot.
I thought Montreal got pur 18th pick .. so we have 2 picks this first round?
Belief they need to draft the best possible player regardless of position. Then they can package maybe a couple of those picks to attain the center they covid.
Wow that would be amazing if they get Potter. Would instantly help the offence. Could probably win the Hobey in a year or two.

August 7th birthday means he will be 18 before the cut off, which is usually mid to late September if I remember correctly. So Tretheway is eligible this year.
Don’t take America university players
Look for real Canadians that don’t want to flock to Florida and only want to show up for Canadian tournaments. Look for real pride and hard work. It’s embarrassing we haven’t won the cup in so long. Real Canadians should want to change that.
