Can you really judge an AHL roster when the main roster is so bad that anyone of quality was brought up and you took their goalie as Varlamov was convalescing?
Bridgeport was the Colorado Rockies of hockey.
If you can't build even a professional level team in the AHL why should anyone expect that you can do so in the NHL. The Islanders organization should have been embarrassed at how bad their AHL team has been for what seems like decades.
