Nuge is one of the all time best swiss army knives the NHL has ever seen. And, not once has he ever complained publicly even when having to babysit both Lucic and JP.
For years Edmonton has had the best 1-2-3 C in the NHL (and it hasn't been close) and rarely have the many coaches taken advantage of this.
Nuge would is a top line C on at least the bottom 25% of teams and had Edmonton not won the McDrai drafts… He likely would still be Edmonton's.

Cats have all three pieces – deep forward core with a few game-breaking players, rock solid defense (Ekblad is playing the best hockey of his career right now) and, most importantly, a hot goalie. Oilers have two of the three – I have no faith in Skinner or Pickard. 2025 is another Panthers cup.
