It's the city they live in, it's part of our map but they are Canadians, so the identity crisis, and the fact their Football fans have 0% of their season ticket holders from the actual city, and the NFL made a deal to give Toronto a Football team, but not move them to Toronto when they played those games at the Sky Dome… They are The Toronto Bills, as much as they are the Toronto Sabres and Maple Leafs!
Sorry but the Seattle Mariners are a bigger joke. Buffalo has 29 playoff appearances, 5 conference finals, 3 Stanley cup finals appearances since 1971. The Mariners have 5 playoff appearances, 2 league championship appearances, and 0 World Series appearances since 1977. They also had a 20 year drought between playoff appearances between 2002-2022 and it took them 19 seasons to make the playoffs for the first time in their history.
Stupid video, stupid headline, stupid AI voice. Buffalo is a sleepy province city with relatively heavy taxes not exactly known as dreamy destination for toptier free agents. For pretty bad odds they are not doing that bad even tho last decade was scary. They were quite feared in part of the 90s under the rule of Hasek and they also played awesome hockey around 2006. There are (were) bigger losers in the NHL, eg. Atlanta, and definitely worse managed teams in recent past, eg. Islanders or Nucks around 2000.
Canucks are also a pretty pathetic organization, add to the equation the completely classless fan base and they might actually be the most pathetic organization in pro sports
As a Sabres fan, the most pathetic thing about this is when Pegula took over.
He became an owner in 2011 – the last year the Sabres made the playoffs. Has this big ownership announcement ceremony before a game at the end of the season in 2011 that I was at. Saying Buffalo is going to be hockey heaven and their sole reason for existence is to win a Stanley Cup. They haven’t made the playoffs since then 😂
In Europe if you underperform you get relegated to a lower division and some other team take your place. Then you have to fight your way back. It’s always strange to me how no matter how bad you perform in American sports you can’t get relegated from the first division.
As someone who has impartially watched hockey from here in London England for years, my biggest gripe with the Sabres is that they failed to give Rick Jeanneret a Stanley Cup to call. I'll never forgive them for that.

Idk who the buffs have making these trades, but there's a obvious pattern that needs to stop. The hasek era was their best chance to get a cup.
Detroit lions
I’ve always wondered why tf New York needs 3 teams. The answer is they don’t
Sabers kicked out TML in that 99 run.
James Patrick coaches Buffalos farm team.
TML only made the 2nd round once since 2004. Phoenix and Toronto are the worst, TML are ok reg season but playoff time they fall apart.

Nah its the Leafs

NO TEAM HAS A RIGHT TO SUCCESS

EVERY franchise in sports is fucking pathetic…. no relegations = dogshit
The Pittsburgh Pirates have entered the chat.

They had the dominator who was so unorthodox the opposition didn’t know how to deal with him.
Buffalo’s been rebuilding for like 15 years 😭
You cant trade your good players & watch them win cups elsewhere …. Calgary did that & regretted it….. That pisses fans off bigtime……
At least Boofalo has the Bills who have won many Super Bowls and the Braves who have many NBA championships
Browns, Sabers, and id say Leafs are worse after this years game 7
Who’s here after Game 7 for the Toronto Maple Leafs?
0:26………you sure, maybe you should reevaluate your statement sir
They still have made it further since the leafs since 1970
You know what’s funny? As bad as the Sabres have been, they’ve won more playoff rounds than the Leafs in the past 20 years

I’m a Leafs fan. Don’t talk to me about pathetic.
