  1. My heart and soul believe in the oilers this year it’s their year I think they can do it without Hyman they got this far without Ekholm next man up mindset

  2. Oilers in 5. Panthers had a hard time beating the Oilers without all their players, this season they have all their players PLUS.

  3. You heard it, guys, Edmonton is winning the cup. Steve can pick loses like a champ it's why he is a Toronto fan.

  4. I've watched hockey and the Oilers my whole life and I can't explain how they're playing so well since beating LA. It makes me want to say something insane like Oilers in five but I know that's not giving Florida credit. Who knows, man.

  5. Shortly, we are the winners. The best hockey games are coming up and the fans can watch them around the globe, we are having a ball.

  6. As much as I want Edmonton to win to finally end this illogical 32-year drought, I just can't see the powers that be at the NHL allowing that to happen. There'll be calls in the series that favor the Panthers, and they'll end up taking it at home in game 6.
    Please, PROVE ME WRONG EDMONTON

  7. This one is hard to predict. No one would have predicted a 3-0 lead by the Panthers last year, almost to squander it and win a close game 7 at home. The question here is if Edmonton can overcome the Canada Stanley Cup curse and if there's someone who could do it, it's Connor McDavid.

  8. Kulikov in the second pairing for the Panthers? Schmidt and another guy in the 3rd pair? With Oilers holding home ice advantage. Bobrovsky will need to be good.

  9. I'm with Steve, Panthers in 7 (but barely). Hyman's being out is critical, and Skinner may flatten out a bit in goal. Having said that, I would not be surprised at all if the Oilers take the cup. I'll give the Panthers about a 55% chance of winning.

  10. Tkachuk and Bennett did nothing in Calgary against the Oilers, very little in last years finals, and it's not going to start now.

  11. Good analysis, even though you jumped ship. But you left out something important. Oilers were so injured last season by the time they made it to the finals and they still have Florida all they could handle and took them to 7 games. Oilers are healthy, minus one player and coming in hot. Oilers in 6

  12. Florida is better. But I dont think there's any chance Edmonton loses back to back. McDavid will score 10 points a game if he has to, the Oilers are gonna take the series

  13. I’ve seen a lot of bias towards the Oilers recently which is fine because it was the same stuff last year. I just find it odd how people just keep forgetting how well rounded and stacked the Panthers are. They’re a better team this year than last year and so are the Oilers but the Panthers have so many ways they can beat you and grind you down. Not to mention BOB.

  14. Look, I'm a Canucks fan. And unless we're playing, I KNOW BETTER THAN TO ROOT AGAINST A P*SSED OFF EDMONTON. These guys want that cup, BADLY.

Said it on Twitter, so I'll say it here. Not everyone gets a second shot at this. Out of that percentage, not many get to get revenge at the same time. EDMONTON, YOU HAVE ONE MISSION.

BRING. IT. HOME. FOR ALL OF US.

  15. I would say Panthers but the Oilers have something going on this year. The Oilers need to stop getting stupid penalties, step up on defence and give it all on 2nd period, they get tired by the 5min mark of the second. It is crucial to get a win on the first or second game. I am going for Oilers in 6. Bring it home Oilers. This is our first season watching you Steve and it has been fun, you have a passion for the game that comes out of the screen. Hope your dream of your team making it to the finals and win happens soon.

  16. I say this as a leafs fan, Oilers are def. winning it this year. McDavid will not be denied again.

  17. Just seems Oilers are getting all the bounces this year. And luck. But you gotta be good to be lucky.

  18. Best player in the world gets his Cup …. Not so fast sit down Marchy …. Connor McDavid Puts the oils even more on his back and wins his first Cup

  19. I don't know if ya'll have been watching the same playoffs as me, but it seems that in every series, all the hockey geniuses had all three opponents beating the oilers, or at the least, having them as the underdogs. Unlike Florida, which were considered the likely winner of each series. I'm biased, so fair play, but I'm also not a pussy, and I'm not afraid to look like a fool by predicting what seems undeniable to me, Oilers take the cup…in five games. Last year they figured out Bob in 4, 5 and 6. The refs put the whistles away in 7, but the oilers 5v5, it can be argued, is better, and statistically, Edmonton goaltending is better (I feel uncomfortable saying such a thing lol). I like you Steve Dangle, and I enjoy your energy and your channel, but your prediction is predictable and safe, imo 🙂

  20. Oilers take it this year. They have home ice advantage this time. I could see game 7 in Edmonton. And I could see a grudge series next year too for real. Best 2-out-of-3 cup final series haha. Oilers in 5. They will skate circles around the Panthers.😂

  21. If I recall correctly last year the announcers were talking about McDavid losing his first attempt was similar to other greats who then turned around and won the following year!
