Cette semaine, nous avons également vu les Hurricanes de la Caroline briser leur séquence de 15 matchs de défaite lors des matchs finaux de la conférence de l’Est, Jeff Skinner marque son premier but en carrière qui était formidable et Ryan Nugent-Hopkins devient l’un des 4 joueurs de seulement 4 joueurs de la LNH pour commencer une finale de conférence avec 4 matchs consécutifs à 2 points. Avec une revanche à venir, nous assistons maintenant à cela pour la 3e fois en 45 ans alors que Connor McDavid cherche à répéter les résultats des deux derniers en ce que l’équipe perdante la première année, l’a remporté la deuxième fois. Incroyablement, Corey Perry jouera dans sa 6e finale de la Coupe Stanley tandis que Brad Marchand qui a presque éliminé les Panthers des séries éliminatoires en 2023, cherchera maintenant à gagner une coupe avec ses anciens rivaux. Le match revanche de la finale de la Coupe Stanley de dernières années semble être électrique, mais pour l’instant, récapitulons tout ce qui vaut un deuxième coup d’œil de la semaine dernière de hockey dans la dernière édition des éliminatoires de la LNH est hors de contrôle!

The Habs run at the end was fun, especially since clinchers were resting and eliminated teams seemed to be playing well out of spite.
The first round, you had to choose which one or two series to follow prinarily.
Second round, close games aren't really a thing any more. Production decreases.
Conference final, we know how this is going to end. Kind of checked out, at this point. Blowouts continue.
I'm glad for this break, prior to the SCF. Allows me to get excited about it again. Also, how much is 4 Nations to blame. It was entertaining, for sure. Some guys did get hurt. How much of it was undisclosed, and they had to keep pushing?
Pete is quite the idiot. Otter played really well against a pretty outstanding team with lots of depth. Both teams were plagued with injuries but had players comeback and change the dynamic overall. So he had to adjust his game quite a bit throughout the entire playoff series. Hes more than capable. Imo.
Please win it, Oilers. They really deserve it and I'm sick of Florida teams in the Finals.

Panthers have no real challenge in the east lets be real. The west has all the best teams currently. I hope they shuffle the entire playoff bracket in the coming years, do a lottery for matchups pull them at random and make em face each other.
