I must admit that listening to you after that "Leo isn't 1C" crap was a mistake
They just replaced the worst coach in the league with the second winningest coach in league history and cleaned house from an incompetent special teams staff. Zegras has endured 3 major injuries over the past 2 seasons while having his creativity systematically stifled by Cronin over that span, which adversely affected his production in addition to the fact he's never had a high level finisher beside him. So many of his grade A steups go to waste. Extremely ignorant take to suggest Anaheim should trade their most dynamic distributor.
Also saying Leo is and/or won't be a 1C is pure insanity lmao, especially when you referred to Rossi as a probable 1C. Just admit you haven't watched him, but no need to spread misinformation like that. I really think you're failing to account for the natural leaps from individual players that will take place under not only a competent (but high-level) NHL bench boss. Q is a proponent of active D and rush play, traits that will accentuate all of the talent and high-end skill Anaheim has organizationally. Not to mention Anaheim has the third most cap space in the league and can easily add a gamebreaking talent like Marner or Ehlers via FA. This is the most glass half empty take on the Ducks' short and long term outlook I've ever seen, and you were still reaching with many of the points you tried to make.
